First time purchasing a living space, and I felt like I was in great hands. Don came highly recommended and was very thorough throughout the space. Not really knowing what to expect or look for, I was nervous. However, Don not only told me the things he liked about the space, but he also made recommendations on changes that should be made and changes that HAD to be made for home safety. I would absolutely recommend Basement to Roof to anyone who needs home inspection they can feel comfortable with and trust.

Don treated us with a professional, smiling handshake early in the morning although it was cold. He was also there about an hour earlier than schedule, as Don entered the house he explain as if we had no idea what was going on , nor having the knowledge of the particulars. The bottom line, he gave us peanut butter and jelly instead of caviar. Meaning, he did not take it for granted that we had first-hand knowledge of some of the things that we seen. He patiently answered all of our questions. As we walked outside the elements and he gave us that same smile and same handshake with confidence, so thank you Don for a delightful morning, you gave me and my fiancé, the best wedding present that one could have gotten. Don was easy to work with to setup the appointment. Matthew was the one who came to inspect our home. Being a first time home buyers we had many questions and he answered patiently. He gave us a good knowledge of quantity of construction and the equipments and the things we will need to be aware of and take care of in future. Don is a true subject matter expert. The inspection was very thorough, my realtor even pointed out that he checked certain things that other inspectors wouldn’t have. He was able to point out everything that needed immediate attention and areas to pay attention to in the future with timelines. He also answered every question that my realtor had to ask. I’m far more confident moving into my new home because of what I learned from Don.

If desired, a customer can "tag along" as he works and he will take the time to explain things as he goes along. I would definitely use his services again if I need them.

This is probably the most thorough home inspection that I've had on any home. They took the time to go through everything and really check it all out. They provided a very detailed report and even video called me when I couldn't be on site (my husband was there). I can't say enough good things about this company. If you really want to know the true condition of a home, this is the company to go with.
